Steps for the establishment of a company in El Salvador

Formation of the incorporation of the company before a notary*
Registration of the incorporation of the company
Registration of the company and establishment of the corporation.
Registration of the company's Tax Identification Number (NIT).
Registration Taxpayer Registration Number (NRC / VAT) of the company.
Registration of the initial balance sheet of the company
Registration of the Employer Identification Number of the Salvadoran Social Security Institute (ISSS).
Registration of the work center of the company
Registration of the employer with the Pension Fund Administrators (AFP).
Registration of the company's internal work regulations with the Ministry of Labor and Social Security (MTPS)*.
Registration of foreign capital with the National Investment Office (ONI) of the Ministry of Economy*
Company registration solvency at the National Statistics and Census Office of the Central Reserve Bank (ONEC)*
Registration of the company at the Municipal Mayor's Office of the company's domicile and its establishments**.

** If your company is located in San Salvador or Santa Ana, please do the procedure at www.miempresa.gob.sv. Otherwise, you must do it at the corresponding City Hall.
